kW is the electrical power being produced right now. It changes continuously as operating conditions change.
kWp is installed peak capacity: the reference capacity of the solar system or selected elevation.
W/kWp compares current power with installed capacity. For example: with 420 kWp installed, if the building is producing 210 kW, it is producing about 55.4% of peak capacity (554 W/kWp).
Sun angle and facade orientation, cloud cover, shading, and temperature can all affect output.
The orange arc visualizes the current W/kWp intensity. It represents live performance, not cumulative energy generation.

1 CO₂ based on Ontario grid intensity 73.8 g CO₂e/kWh (TAF 2024). Tree and home equivalencies from the EPA Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator. Homes based on EPA average annual household electricity use; impact figures computed from live generation for the selected period.
2 Lifetime refers to cumulative energy production recorded from the start of system monitoring through the present.
